90% of your work is not your best work (Pat Pattison) No matter how great your songs are, this will always be true. One of the most important things in learning to write songs that you love, is actually spending the practice time writing. In this course, we will meet once a week for 1 hour accountability sessions. We’ll join zoom, switch our microphones off..and…write! You might choose to jump in a break out room with a fellow participant to co-write, or you might just throw down the first ideas you have. I can help you with developing a prompt to get started, and I am available to answer any questions you might have, especially if you get stumped! At the end of the 10 weeks, you’ll choose your favourite song to submit for feedback. You can also include any questions you have at the end of the 10 weeks in your submission, and I’ll record a feedback video that is yours to keep!
